This week I am reading the 2020 Newbery award winning graphic novel New Kid by Jerry Kraft.
So far I am loving it.  The main character is Jordan Banks who is starting 7th grade at a new private school outside his neighbor hood.  I am enjoying the format and the humor so far.  I would love to hear about what you are reading please share in the comments section below!

    I finished New Kid and I would highly recommend it! It was a great story about handling change and the power and importance of friendship and kindness. Geared toward 5th-8th grade, it is available to check out through SORA.

    I am reading I Survived the Battle of Gettysburg,1863 by Lauren Tarshis I love it so far.

      That is great Nile, historical fiction is my favorite genre. I will have to put that on my list to read!

    Hi Mrs Taggart I have read Drive Along By Melinda Melton Crow and Little Lizard's New Pet By Melinda Melton Crow. i really like the picture. they are very good to read.
